Phlebotomy Program Objective:

To provide students the theory & clinical procedures necessary to develop skills to draw blood for various blood tests for entry level positions in hospitals, Doctors offices and laboratories.

Students will learn medical terminology, infection control, identifying equipment and supplies, non blood collections procedures and how to perform Venipuncture as well as the transportation, accessioning and processing of specimens.
